All Signs Of Death, based on a Charlie Huston novel, focuses on a young man who ends up as a crime scene cleaner.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Crawford has now joined the cast as the cleaner's best friend, a man who works in a tattoo parlour.
Crawford previously played Kevin Wade in 24 and is currently starring in The Glades.
Ben Whishaw has already been cast in the lead role in All Signs Of Death.
