TBS has ordered an additional 90 episodes of sitcom Are We There Yet? after an initial ten-week run.

The series features The Expendables star Terry Crews and actress Essen Atkins as Nick and Suzanne, a newly-married couple who struggle with their new family life.

The show is based on the 2005 film of the same name, starring rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube. Cube serves as executive producer on the television adaptation, and also plays the recurring role of Suzanne's brother Terrence.

Are We There Yet? has proven itself to be an extremely strong addition to TBS’s comedy lineup,” said Michael Wright, head of programming for TBS. “[The series] attracts a young, diverse audience, making it an especially good fit for our Wednesday night slate of original sitcoms.”

Are We There Yet? premiered on TBS on June 2 and averaged 2.8m viewers for the network.
