According to Deadline, ABC, NBC and CBS are all vying for the brodcast rights to Good Christian Bitches.
The pilot, based on the book by Kim Gatlin, will be adapted by Steel Magnolias writer Robert Harling.
The original novel follows Amanda Vaughn, a newly-divorced mother who moves back to her childhood home in Dallas and becomes caught up in a world of gossip and scandal.
The project will be executive produced by Star, Harling and Aaron Kaplan.
Star's most recent television project was the ABC drama Cashmere Mafia.
