The Last Exorcism producer told IGN that he is eager to create an anthology series in the style of The Twilight Zone.
"The Twilight Zone is my favourite show of all time," he confirmed. "I'd love to do a series [like that]. Something really creepy. That would be fun."
He added that he would prefer for the series to air on a major network rather than on cable.
"I don't know if I'd necessarily do a cable series because I think that part of the fun would be trying to do it on network television," he explained. "To try and be smart, without the violence. I would just be too tempted to have people's heads chopped off in every episode [if it was on cable]."
Roth's next project will be the science-fiction film Endangered Species.
