The original show, which starred Stephen Mangan, Anthony Head and Sharon Horgan, focused on an agent going through a difficult divorce.
Variety reports that Party Down scribe John Enbom has now sold a remake to NBC.
The project is the first American sale from the TV division of Simon Pegg and Nira Park's production company Big Talk.
Last week, Enbom and his Party Down colleagues Rob Thomas and Don Etheridge signed a deal with NBC for another new show, Temp.
