Other celebrities that have previously been announced as appearing include George Clooney, Lance Armstrong and Sally Field.
A previous edition of the telethon aired in 2008 and raised over $100m (£64m).
Stand Up To Cancer is to be hosted by news anchors Brian Williams, Diane Sawyer and Katie Couric and will air across the broadcast networks.
