Three join 'The Good Guys' cast

Gary Cole will make a guest appearance in an upcoming episode of Fox comedy drama The Good Guys.

Fancast reports that the actor will play Frank, the often-mentioned former partner of Detective Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford).

Cole previously starred alongside Whitford in several episodes of The West Wing. More recently, he has played recurring roles on The Good Wife and Entourage.

Machete star Danny Trejo will also reportedly appear in a new episode, while Ed Begley Jr. will play the father of Detective Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks).

The Good Guys will return to Fox on September 24.
