Victor Garber joins 'Stargate Universe'

ChicagoNow says that the actor has landed a potentially recurring role in the Syfy series.
The show's creator Brad Wright admitted that he was excited about Garber joining the show, adding that he will play Ambassador Ovirda of the planet Langara.
Meanwhile, French Stewart has signed up for a guest role as Dr. Andrew Covel, the new head of research at Stargate Command, and Prison Break star Kathleen Quinlan will play Senator Michaels, head of the off-world spending committee.
Stargate Universe returns for a new season on September 28 at 9/8c on Syfy.
