Leann Rimes 'slams talkshow host Williams'

Lee Ann Rimes has responded to criticisms leveled at her by television host Wendy Williams.

Earlier this week, Williams criticised Rimes on her daily talkshow for allegedly engaging in an affair with Dean Sheremet and said that the country singer should have respected Sheremet's marriage to Brandi Glanville, according to Us Weekly.

"It's all very sloppy," Williams said.

Rimes took to her Twitter account to reply to the presenter's comments.

"All I know is Wendy Williams done p*ssed my mamma off! I don't wanna be in her path. To say, 'I've reserved myself a place in hell'?! (sic)" she wrote.

She continued: "I'm incredibly disappointed to see someone with that kind of platform use it for such negativity and could be so mean and judgmental about a situation they know nothing about... I don't like how it happened either, said it a million times, but this is out of control."
