Ashley Tisdale promises 'Hellcats' romance

Ashley Tisdale has confirmed that her Hellcats character Savannah will have a romance in the future.

Speaking to E! Online, Tisdale explained that Savannah and Dan (Matt Barr) will end up getting together.

"At first it's like really weird," she said. "You're like, 'Oh, why are they getting together?' But then I think throughout each episode you're like, 'Oh, I get it!'"

However, Tisdale suggested that Savannah's religious values may cause some problems in the relationship.

"She's very Christian and so is her family, so she's not used to dating outside of the church," she explained. "This is a whole new experience with a boyfriend who isn't that religious."

Hellcats continues on Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
