Deadline reports that the untitled project, which is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television, focuses on three women who gave up their jobs to travel around the world for a year.
The women - Jennifer Baggett, Holly Corbett and Amanda Pressner - travelled across four continents and wrote about their experiences on a blog.
Earlier this year, HarperCollins published a book based on entries from the website.
Ildy Modrovich, who previously worked on CSI: Miami, will write the script and executive produce along with Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman.
