'SGU' exec teases 'Atlantis' crossover
Published Friday, Sep 24 2010, 17:50 BST | By Morgan Jeffery

It was previously announced that two characters from Atlantis would appear in a forthcoming episode of SGU.
"[SGU] is opening up a little in terms of its ability to be more [like] the adventure that the other shows were," Wright told Collider. "With that comes a little more... humour. Eli (David Blue) has always brought that to the show [but] it's now becoming a little bit broader."
Wright admitted that it will be difficult to please fans of both series with the crossover episode.
"SGU will never be as broad as the two previous shows, because it is trying to be a bit deeper in terms of character development," he argued. "[Some] fans have said that it's... more adult, [but] other fans have felt that the [previous] shows were more adult and that this is just soap opera, so you can't please everybody!"
Stargate Universe returns this Tuesday at 9/8c on Syfy.
