The former star of The Hills will be followed as she pursues a career as a fashion designer.
Conrad confirmed the news yesterday during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, according to People.
"It would be safe to say [yes]...it would follow my career," Conrad said of the premise for the new show. "I've always been open to doing reality again."
Conrad made her last appearance on The Hills in May 2009, after which the hit series continued without her, following new star Kristin Cavallari.
Since leaving the show she has already launched her own fashion line - the Lauren Conrad Collection.
The new MTV series will begin filming in October, with details expected to be announced over the next few weeks.
