According to Entertainment Weekly, the burlesque performer will appear in an episode of the series early next year.
The show's executive producer Carol Mendelsohn explained that she will play a femme fatale in a reference to "the glory days of LA film noir".
She added: "Her character is absolutely unlike what she seems. Prepare to be tantalised and tormented."
Mendelsohn also suggested that the case "will get personal" for Sanders (Eric Szmanda).
CSI continues on Thursdays at 9/8c on CBS.
