TV Guide reports that Chris Mundy will be replaced by Edward Allen Bernero, who already fills the same position on the original Criminal Minds.
Mundy was appointed showrunner for Suspect Behaviour earlier this year after writing an episode of Criminal Minds that served as a backdoor pilot for the spinoff.
Bernero is said to have been brought in when ABC Studios and CBS TV Studios decided that the new show needed his direct input. The producer took over the original Criminal Minds from creator Jeff Davis back in 2005.
Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour will star Forest Whitaker and Janeane Garofalo, and is expected to air in early 2011 on CBS.
