Mario Lopez to star in 'Saved by the Baby'

Mario Lopez will star in a VH1 reality show called Saved by the Baby.

According to the network, the show will document Lopez's transition into fatherhood.

The ex-Saved by the Bell actor's girlfriend Courtney Mazza gave birth to a baby girl named Gia Francesca in September.

"From sonograms and baby proofing to vacations with the in-laws, Mario and Courtney will begin this exciting and sometimes overwhelming new chapter in their lives with America watching," read a press release.

The series premieres on November 1 at 10.30pm ET on VH1.
