Surface / NBC
The series, shown in the UK on ITV2, will wrap in the US on February 6 with an episode that brings "semi-closure" to the ongoing storyline.
"I think it's creative," Reilly said at the TCA tour. "It's got a very loyal audience. We'll reassess in May, and we'll look at the rest of the product, but no decision [on its future] is made right now one way or the other."
Meanwhile, the network has also failed to make any firm plans on the future of NBC spinoff Joey, which has been temporarily pulled from the schedule.
"We don't have any plans for Joey right now," added Reilly. " We're going to get into March, see how the schedule settles in, and then we'll reassess as to where Joey can come back on."
