Axed 'Book of Daniel' to close online
Published Thursday, Feb 2 2006, 11:48 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
Controversial miniseries The Book of Daniel will finish up its run online, NBC has announced.
The show was axed by the network last week amid low ratings - several affiliates had refused to air it - and protest from conservative Christian groups over its content, which included alcoholism, bisexuality and a pill-popping priest.
The final three episodes will be available for free via NBC.com over the coming weeks; last week's unaired episode is already online and the second will follow tomorrow (February 3).
