According to the New York Times, Chung will present Thrift America on the channel.
The series reportedly focuses on Chung shopping for vintage clothes, furniture, music equipment and other objects.
Chung, who will present the show with Style.com's Maya Singer, is expected to visit American locations including Orlando, Nashville, Detroit, Brooklyn and Alabama, as well as Paris and London.
Chung's previous American series It's On With Alexa Chung was cancelled by MTV last year but she was recently named as the new host of the channel's UK show Gonzo.
