Josh Holloway feared 'Lost' axe

The actor, who plays Sawyer, thought that his character was too nasty to survive on the island for a long period of time.
"When I read the first script I was like: 'Oh my God, I might as well not even unpack my bags. He is going to be hated,'" Josh explained during an appearance on US TV.
"They gave me just a tiny bit of humanity and I blew it up as much as I could. I was like: 'Please be the guy you love to hate, not the guy you hate, because if you're the guy they hate - you're going to get axed.' So I was trying my best to do that and fans responded."
