HBO has decided not to commission a full series of All Signs of Death, reports suggest.

The drama pilot, written by True Blood showrunner Alan Ball, was originally commissioned by the cable channel in July.

Based on a novel by Charlie Huston, All Signs focused on a young man (Ben Whishaw) who becomes involved in a murder mystery when he begins working as a crime scene cleaner.

HBO reportedly decided not to move forward after struggling to find a suitable slot for the project.

Last month, the channel also passed on drama pilot The Miraculous Year, helmed by The Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow.
