The Transporter movies star Jason Statham as a man whose job is to deliver packages without asking any questions. EuropaCorp revealed that it was working on a TV series adaptation of the three films earlier this year, but now it has found a US broadcaster, allowing the show to begin shooting.
According to Deadline, EuropaCorp are reluctant to reveal details of the partner, although chairman Pierre-Ange Le Pogam has been quoted as saying that "it's a big one".
The series will be shot in 12 parts from early next year, with the first episodes expected to air in November.
EuropaCorp is reportedly also considering developing the Liam Neeson movie Taken for television.
