Writers Jeremy Miller and Dan Cohn are developing two comedy projects at Fox and Showtime.

Deadline reports that the Fox pilot will be based on the Walker Lamond book, Rules for My Unborn Son.

The sitcom will focus on Miles, a young underacheiver who was adopted by a family of eccentric intellectuals. When he finally meets his real father, Miles is inspired to write a rule book of life for his unborn child.

The Showtime project will be titled Heavy and Rolling and will focus on a town-car driver in Manhattan who assumes multiple identities as he begins to lose his grip on sanity.

Hollywood stars Ryan Phillippe and Breckin Meyer will executive produce the pilot alongside Miller and Cohn.

The writing duo previously created short-lived ABC drama That Was Then and have also worked on episodes of Entourage and Boston Public.
