It was previously announced that the actress will appear in multiple episodes as a "powerful and controlling" agency boss.
She told TV Line: "[NCS agent Jane Bentley] is there to offer Casey (Adam Baldwin) an opportunity to set up a new team [and] a new operation. It's an offer that's somewhat enticing and would shake things up."
Givens added that the pair will maintain a frosty relationship throughout the story arc.
"He wants to keep her at arm's length," she explained. "But she's coming to him at a time when it's hard for him to just dismiss what she has to offer."
Producer Chris Fedak previously confirmed that the Bentley character will also serve as "kind of a foil of sorts to Chuck (Zachary Levi)".
Chuck airs on Mondays at 8/7c on NBC.
