The project, written by Rescue Me creator Peter Tolan, will focus on a group of employees at a theme park called Pilgrim Village, which specialises in recreations of New England in 1637.
Deadline reports that Nick Braun will star as one of the workers at the village who feels embarrassed about his unusual job. He previously appeared in ABC Family's 10 Things I Hate About You and also starred in upcoming Kevin Smith film Red State.
Cloverfield star Will Greenberg will also appear as a pompous man who claims to be descended from an actual Mayflower, while veteran actor Ed Begley Jr. will play the Pilgrim Village's bumbling boss.
In addition to his script work, Peter Tolan will also executive produce the Brave New World pilot alongside Michael Wimer.
