Deadline reports that Iron Man star Toub will play Doctor Khan, a local E.R. doctor with a mysterious past.
The actor's past television credits include roles in Lost, Chuck and The Mentalist.
Other actors confirmed for roles in Luck include Dennis Farina, Ian Hart, Michael Gambon, Joan Allen and John C. McGinley.
The series is expected to premiere in late 2011 or early 2012.
