'Scrubs' character to join 'Cougar Town'

According to TV Line, Lloyd will play his Scrubs character Ted Buckland in the season finale of the show.
Reports have previously suggested that the instalment will be set in Hawaii, but details of Lloyd's storyline have not yet been revealed.
Cougar Town's executive producer Bill Lawrence previously worked on Scrubs. The hospital comedy's star Christa Miller plays Ellie in Cougar Town, while Ken Jenkins had a guest role as Jules' father.
Cougar Town returns on April 18 on ABC.
