Kat Dennings signs up for CBS pilot

According to Deadline, the comedy focuses on two girls from very different backgrounds.
Dennings has signed up to play Max, who has been poor from birth.
She ends up waitressing at the same Brooklyn diner as Caroline, who was born wealthy but has fallen on hard times. The duo become friends and decide to find $250,000 for a new business venture.
The project is being executive produced by comedian Whitney Cummings and Michael Patrick King, who previously worked on Sex And The City and Will & Grace.
Dennings has appeared in movies such as The House Bunny and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist and will star in the upcoming film Thor. On television, she has had roles in shows such as ER and Raising Dad.
