Neil Patrick Harris to direct CBS pilot?

Neil Patrick Harris is reportedly in negotiations to direct a new CBS comedy pilot.

The How I Met Your Mother star will work with Big Wolf on Campus co-creator Peter Knight and executive producer Doug Robinson on the project.

The multi-camera sitcom will focus on a team of young people who work at a high-power venture capital firm.

The as-yet-untitled pilot will be produced by Sony Television, CBS Television Studios and Adam Sandler's production company Happy Madison.

Harris previously directed a fifth season episode of How I Met Your Mother and was also attached to helm romantic comedy Aaron and Sarah, starring Emma Roberts and Josh Hutcherson.

Other pilots currently in development at CBS include Two Broke Girls starring Kat Dennings, sitcom How To Be A Gentleman and medical drama The Doctor.
