Morena Baccarin for 'The Mentalist' role

Entertainment Weekly reports that the actress, who currently stars in ABC's V, will play a character named Erica Flynn.
The owner of a matchmaking business, Flynn will be forced to hide some dark secrets when she crosses paths with Jane (Simon Baker).
Baccarin previously starred in short-lived Fox sci-fi drama Firefly and has also featured in episodes of The O.C., How I Met Your Mother and Stargate SG-1.
The Mentalist continues on Thursdays at 10/9c on CBS.
