Leslie Odom Jr. boards 'Poe' pilot

The drama will imagine author Edgar Allen Poe as a detective using unusual methods to solve crimes.
Deadline says that Odom has now joined the cast as Julian 'Jupiter' Noble.
The character is said to be a doctor at a free clinic who helps Poe.
Odom has previously starred in shows including CSI: Miami, Vanished and Big Day. He recently filmed a guest role for NCIS: Los Angeles and has also appeared in episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Gilmore Girls.
