The actress previously appeared in the first two Twilight films and has featured in episodes of CSI, How I Met Your Mother and Bones.
It was previously reported that Claire Wellin had signed up for a role in The Crossing, which has been written by Northern Exposure scribe Josh Brand. Aaron Kaplan will serve as executive producer.
