Enrique Murciano signs for 'Hail Mary'

Enrique Murciano has signed up for a role in CBS drama pilot Hail Mary.

The project will star Minnie Driver as Mary Beth, a single mother who teams up with a streetwise conman to solve crimes.

TV Line reports that former Without a Trace star Murciano will play Mary Beth's former high school boyfriend who now works as a detective.

The actor, who has also appeared in episodes of CSI and Medium, is expected to work his commitment to the pilot around his recently announced recurring role on NCIS.

Glee actor Stephen Tobolowsky will also appear in Hail Mary as a private detective who helps Mary Beth.

Jeff Wadlow has written the pilot and will also executive produce alongside Joel Silver and The L Word's Ilene Chaiken.
