Three join Rob Schneider CBS pilot

Three actors have reportedly signed up to appear in Rob Schneider's pilot for CBS.

The as-yet-untitled project stars Schneider as a bachelor who marries into a large Mexican-American family.

According to Deadline, Nadine Velazquez has joined the cast as Maggie, the wife of Schneider's character. The pair get married after knowing each other for just six weeks.

Velazquez previously played Catalina in My Name Is Earl and recently starred as Sofia in The League.

Meanwhile, Ugly Betty star Tony Plana will play Maggie's strict father and Lupe Ontiveros, who previously starred in Desperate Housewives and Greetings From Tucson, will star as Maggie's tough, Spanish-speaking grandmother.

Schneider is expected to write the project with his collaborator Lewis Morton.
