Brandon T Jackson lands 'Hail Mary' lead

The crime drama stars Minnie Driver as Mary Beth, a single mother whose teenage son is killed.
Mary Beth teams up with her son's best friend KZ, a streetwise conman, to solve his murder and other crimes.
Deadline says that Jackson has now signed up for the role of KZ in the drama. He has previously appeared in movies including Tropic Thunder, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son and Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief. He also recently guest starred in an episode of Raising Hope.
Enrique Murciano and Stephen Toblowsky have already signed up for roles in Hail Mary.
