NBC has set June 8 as the premiere date for its new summer drama series Windfall.

The show follows twenty lottery winners in the wake of them winning a gigantic $286 million jackpot. At the centre is a close-knit foursome, played by Luke Perry (Beverly Hills, 90210), Lana Parrilla (Boomtown), Jason Gedrick (Boomtown) and Sarah Wynter (24).

"This is an engaging and dramatic series with an extremely talented cast," said Kevin Reilly, president of NBC Entertainment. "Windfall is an important component of our summer lineup and exemplifies our commitment to quality year round original programming."
