The project will focus on a battle between the forces of good and evil in the small town of Hallelujah, Tennessee.
TV Line reports that Terriers star Logue will play Rye Turner, a hard-working but perpetually unlucky diner owner.
A desperate Turner will turn to mysterious newcomer Jared O'Neal (Jesse L. Martin) for help in his conflict with unscrupulous millionaire Del Roman (Terry O'Quinn).
Logue previously starred in NBC cop drama Life and has appeared on Monk, Damages and ER. He will also play a guest role in a forthcoming episode of House.
Arielle Kebbel and Frances O'Connor will also appear in the Hallelujah pilot, which will be directed by Michael Apted.
