Terry Kinney boards 'Rookies' pilot

Rookies, which is being executive produced by Robert De Niro, focuses on six new recruits to the New York Police Department.
Deadline says that Kinney has now joined the cast as Yoda, the group's field training officer.
Kinney starred as Tim McManus in Oz and has also appeared in shows including thirtysomething, The Mentalist and The Good Wife.
Rookies will also star Adam Goldberg, Judy Marte, Tom Reed, Stark Sands and Leelee Sobieski.
