Julie Benz boards CBS drama pilot

According to Deadline, the No Ordinary Family actress has joined the cast of an as-yet untitled supernatural medical drama.
Susannah Grant has written the pilot, which centres on a competitive surgeon named Michael, played by Patrick Wilson, who receives life and career advice from his dead wife, played by Jennifer Ehle.
Benz will portray Michael's single-mother sister.
The actress recently admitted that she was still hoping ABC would order a second season of No Ordinary Family.
Michael Chiklis, Benz's No Ordinary Family co-star, also recently joined the cast of an upcoming pilot project.
