Rose McGowan is to replace Shannen Doherty on The WB's Charmed, it has been confirmed.
The actress will play a long-lost sister to co-stars Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs. Doherty's character will vanish.
Jordan Levin, WB Co-President of Entertainment, said: "Both Alyssa and Holly Marie have set a high bar. In searching for the third member of the ensemble, we are truly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Rose McGowan and believe she will bring a new and different dynamic to Charmed."
