Geoff Johns corrects 'Sandman' rumours

Writing on Twitter, DC Entertainment's chief creative officer denied Monday's rumour that the adaptation had been shelved.
"Correction to world: The Sandman is AWAKE!" he said. "Psyched to be working with @neilhimself [Neil Gaiman] on developing one of the greatest series ever!
"Sandman in any form - comics to live action - doesn't work without @neilhimself."
Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, who was attached to develop the series, had previously stated that the show had been scrapped.
