The as-yet-untitled drama stars Poppy Montgomery as Carrie Wells, a former detective who volunteers at a nursing home. She has a special ability to remember everything.
Deadline says that Walsh has signed up to play Detective Al Burns, who used to work with Carrie.
They bump into each other by chance and Al hires Carrie to work as a consultant for him. Al, who is now engaged, used to date Carrie but her special ability ruined their relationship.
Walsh previously starred as Sean in Nip/Tuck and has also appeared in shows including Everwood, Law & Order: SVU and Brooklyn South.
