On the ABC sitcom, Alice (Anders) ditched her casual relationship with Ben (Matthew Perry) for a more serious romance with the confident Alonzo (James Lesure).
She told Zap2it: "It's one of those things in life that you have this person that you really care about and you really like and you really want to be with them, but because you're so focused on their flaws you tend to go look for somebody else who's easier."
Anders suggested that Alice will begin to have doubts about her relationship with Alonzo and could get back together with Ben.
"The easier person is generally more boring," she claimed. "You [usually] end up back with [the first one]. I think it's kind of a universal thing that happens to almost everybody. You go looking for the easy person and you find... that [the] difficult person is kind of more fun."
The actress also revealed that her character will be forced to take on the bumbling Roman (Nate Torrence) as an assistant in tonight's episode.
"There are a couple of episodes coming up where everybody's kind of intermixing," she explained. "It'll be interesting."
Mr. Sunshine continues on Wednesdays at 9.30/8.30c on ABC.
