The mother-of-eight was asked by Matt Lauer on NBC's Today Show on Monday if her kids still enjoyed filming Kate Plus 8, the follow-up show to Jon & Kate Plus 8.
"It is a very positive fixture still in our lives," she said. "It's normal and exciting - they still cheer when the crew comes in the door. I would not say that if it wasn't true.
"We just filmed this past weekend for an upcoming episode and they said it was one of their best weekends ever."
The 36-year-old, who separated from husband Jon in 2009, also gave Lauer an update on children Collin and Alexis, who she chose to remove from kindergarten last year over factors including medical issues.
She explained that the kids are now beginning to "integrate" back into school, adding: "They are doing amazingly well. I know looking back that I made the right decision and did the right thing. They are blossoming."
Tonight's episode of Kate Plus 8 will see Kate treating twins Mady and Cara and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah to a vacation in Australia, which took place over the New Year period.
The network recently teased that viewers can expect to see the family watching the New Year's Eve fireworks at Sydney Harbour, learning about the Australian aboriginal culture, and swimming with sharks.
Kate Plus 8 airs at 10/9c on TLC.
