Canada's CBC co-pros for 'Torchwood', 'Who'
Published Saturday, Apr 8 2006, 01:20 BST | By Neil Wilkes

The network previously partnered with the BBC for the first two series of the revived sci-fi drama and is planning to air the second this Autumn.
The news marks the first international pickup for Torchwood - due to air on BBC Three this October - and comes despite a much-publicised CBC leak that resulted in the first episode of Doctor Who leaking onto the internet last year.
"Canada has taken Doctor Who to its heart with passion and enthusiasm," said Julie Gardner, head of drama at BBC Wales. "I am delighted that our working relationship with CBC means that the Doctor and the TARDIS will rematerialise on CBC screens for the third series and that it will be joined by Russell T Davies' thrilling new series, Torchwood."
