Channel 4 picks up final 'Charmed' season

The show is already airing on Living TV in the UK and had been expected, as usual, to make its way to Five later this year.
Channel 4 edged ahead, however, with a bid led by acquisitions head Jeff Ford, who originally purchased the show for Five in 1998.
"We knew it was coming to an end," a Five spokeswoman told Broadcast. "The ratings were OK, but it certainly hasn't been rating as much as it had. It wasn't a priority for us any more."
Channel 4 plans to air the show as part of T4 this summer.
