Humphries will appear alongside Kardashian in the upcoming sixth season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, with Kim admitting that she is thrilled that he has adapted so well to it all.
"He was so natural," Kardashian revealed to People. "I don't think he would have planned to be in a relationship that has cameras around and stuff like that, but he's done such a good job."
The new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians began filming in March, meaning that most of the build-up to the couple's recent engagement has been caught on camera.
Kardashian also revealed that the new season will deal with their struggles at having a long-distance relationship, as she is based in Los Angeles while Humphries has to stay in New York near his NBA team the New Jersey Nets.
"We definitely wanted to make sure that we really got to know each other first before we even had him on camera," Kardashian explained. "We took a few good months just to ourselves to make sure that everything was really just strong between us."
The couple plan to wed at some point this summer, and Kardashian herself has said that she wants to start a family as soon as possible.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians begins tonight on E! at 10pm.
