A press release issued by a television station in the American state of Washington has indicated that The CW will replace The WB and UPN on Monday, September 18.

No launch date has been confirmed by The CW itself, and no comment on KAZW-TV's statement has been issued from either CBS or Time Warner, The CW's two parent companies.
