NBC rules Independence Day

The fourth of July saw NBC hold the top spot last Wednesday, early figures show.

The network was down 0.4m but up 2 points to 6.3m (13%). CBS landed in second with 4.5m (9%), followed by ABC with 4.2m (8%), and FOX with 3.5m (7%). UPN managed fifth with 1.6m (3%), and The WB finished on 1.2m (3%).
