Rare Star Trek items will go under the hammer at a massive auction to mark the franchise's 40th anniversary in October.
Held at Christie's in New York, the sell-off will include over 1,000 lots with items including weapons, costumes and model starships from the archives of CBS and Paramount studios covering the various eras of Gene Roddenberry's creation.
Among the rarities up for grabs are the uniform wore by William Shatner in The Wrath of Khan and a replica of Captain Kirk's chair, with estimated winning bids of $9,000 and $15,000 respectively.
The auction will run from October 5 to October 7.
